Driving the Backroad [Through My Lens Nr. 133]

There is simply more to see when you drive down a backroad. Especially on a beautiful sunny day. Even though winter is still in full swing, this past weekend had at least one sunny day. I used it for a drive north, and one small stretch was driven on a small backroad that follows the river Neretva from the village Donja Jablanica to the town Jablanica. This was actually an old railroad where steam trains used to commute. It even ends with a narrow train tunnel, which you can see two images down. I hope you enjoyed the sunny winter shots. A new work week is ahead of us. I hope it will be a good one for you.

Thank you all for joining me in another week of "Through My Lens". I am looking forward to your submissions this week!

  14. That is some stunning clear day scenery. The photos of the dusting of the snow on the mountain with the green trees in the foreground are my favourite. The colour of the river water reminds me of some of the alluvial lakes on the South Island of New Zealand.
